JD & the Straight Shot will support Don Henley on his upcoming European tour it has been announced.

The support slot will see the band promoting their all-acoustic new album Ballyhoo!, which is out now.

JD & the Straight Shot will support Don Henley at the following dates:

20th June – Sweden, Stockholm, Ericsson Globe
21st June – Amsterdam, Heineken Music Hall
25th June – Glasgow, The SSE Hydro
27th June – Manchester Arena
29th June – Ireland, Cork, Live at the Marquee
1st July – Ireland, Dublin, 3Arena

JD & The Straight Shot are vocalist/guitarist Jim Dolan, guitarist/vocalist Marc Copely (B.B. King, Rosanne Cash), bassist Byron House (Robert Plant, Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton) along with touring musicians guitarist JJ Appelton (David Bowie, Darius Rucker), percussionist Joe Magistro (The Black Crowes, Rich Robinson), violinist Mary Jo Stillip (Adele, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Sigur Ros) and vocalist/guitarist Erin McCarley (Don Henley).

Their new album Ballyhoo! was produced by Chuck Ainlay (Mark Knopfler, Miranda Lambert). The eleven tracks were written by Dolan, Copely and House along with Erin Slaver and Aidan Dolan, with additional contributions by Chris Carmack (who plays Will Lexington on TVā€™s Nashville) and Adam Levy (known for his work with Norah Jones and Tracy Chapman).
