Gary Barlow announces live DVD release

Gary Barlow is releasing a new live DVD just in time for Mother’s Day.

Released on 4th March the DVD will contain the full live performance from the Manchester date of his December 2012 solo tour. The tour was his first solo jaunt in over 12 years and he played to sold-out audiences across the UK.

For the show Gary was joined by Mark Owen, JLS, Nicole Scherzinger and James Corden as he performed a two-hour set featuring duets, Take That hits and medleys of his own solo material. The DVD contains additional performances not seen on the original New Year’s Eve ITV broadcast.

Over his 20-year career Gary has sold over 50 million records, scored 8 number 1 albums and 14 number 1 singles, sold over seven million concert tickets and won six Ivor Novello Awards. He was also awarded an OBE for his contriubtion to British music and his charity work.

    I’m so excited. Unfortunately, there were a few songs that were not included on the dvd and there were songs that were better done solo on other dates of the tour-not too keen on some duets (others were great – James Corden and Peter Kay), but one can’t have it all. Roll on March!
