Chart-topping singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will perform directly from Dublin on Saturday 24th January for one-off show Ed Sheeran Storytellers Live! for MTV Music.
The one-off special will see Ed perform and share personal stories from his life that have inspired his hit singles. The performance will take place at 12am from the intimate Whelan’s in Dublin, the venue he once saw Damien Rice who inspired his own music career.
“It’s amazing to come back to perform at a place that means so much to me personally,” said Sheeran. “I was only about 11 or 12 years old when I saw Damien play at Whelan’s, and that night literally changed my life. The time he spent talking with me after the show made all the difference. It inspired me in a way that I only hope to do for someone else.”
Ed Sheeran Storytellers Live! will be preceded by an evening of programmed dedicated to Ed. The line-up is:
