Indie-folk quartet Darlingside will return to the UK for a summer tour this June it has been announced.
The third trip to the UK for the band will kick off at The Maze in Nottingham on 22nd June. The band will then hit the road playing dates in Birmingham, Leicester, Bury, Sheffield, York and Bristol before ending the tour in London.
Darlingside were the surprise hit of the Cambridge Folk Festival last year when they made their UK debut. They stepped in for an absent headliner on Stage 1, following a performance on Stage 2, and received a rapturous reception.
The band’s album Birds Say is out now and it features the Massachusetts-based quartetās wide-open arrangements marked by the skillful vocal interplay of the four singers.
