The BET Awards 2013 took place last night at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
Big winners on the night included Rihanna who picked up the award for Female R&B/Pop Artist, Miguel who took home Male R&B/Pop Artist, and Kendrick Lamar who was awarded Male Hip Hop Artist. Scandal star Kerry Washington also picked up the award for Actress.
Performances on the night came from Mariah Carey featuring Miguel and Jeezy, Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj, Robin Thicke featuring Pharrell Williams and T.I., R.Kelly and Kendrick Lamar with Erykah Badu.
