A Great Big World are riding high on their recent US success as they finally come over to the UK with their Christina Aguilera collaboration Say Something.
Say Something is due to be released in the UK on 16th February and is taken from their debut album Is There Anybody Out There? which follows on 24th February. Since it’s release Say Something has sold over 1.5 million copies with the music video achieving over 20 million views so far.
Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino, the two members of A Great Big World, saw their fortunes change when Say Something made its debut on So You Think You Can Dance. After hearing the track Christina Aguilera requested to put her vocals on it and she performed it with the guys on The Voice.
Ian reveals, “It’s a very special song to us, and we are thrilled to see how many people have been able to identify with it.”
Chad goes on, “We’re also amazed by the response from So You Think You Can Dance. It was truly an honor to hear the song on the show, and we’re beyond grateful for the opportunity.”
