Chris Young has released his brand new single Losing Sleep, the first from his upcoming new album.
Written by Young with Josh Hoge and Chris DeStefano, Losing Sleep marries Young’s deep tones with an acoustic guitar riff on the verses before exploding into a powerful chorus.
Losing Sleep is the first single from Young since 2016’s Sober Saturday Night featuring Vince Gill. The track is the lead single from Young’s seventh studio album, which is expected to be released this year.
The new album is the follow-up to 2016’s festive collection It Must Be Christmas and his first collection of fully original material since 2015’s I’m Comin’ Over.
Young teased that new music is imminent when we caught up with him at C2C: Country to Country earlier this year, where he performed on the main stage for the second time in the festival’s history.
