Lindsay Ell to release new album The Project in August

Lindsay Ell will release her first full-length album The Project this August.

The news was revealed during an appearance on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday where Ell performed current single Waiting On You and new album track Champagne. She also performed Are You Gonna Go My Way by Lenny Kravitz and La Grange by ZZ Top with the show’s house band Cleto and the Cletones.

Hailing from Calgary, Ell is an artist on the rise getting attention from The Huffington Post. She has toured with Luke Bryan, Buddy Guy, The Band Perry and Keith Urban and she played guitar for Carrie Underwood on the 50th Annual CMA Awards.

Over her career to date, Ell has been nominated for a 2016 CMT Music Award and Canadian Country Music Award. She participated in the 2016 CMT Next Women of Country Tour and released her debut EP Worth the Wait, produced by Kristian Bush.
