Jason Isbell and his band the 400 Unit will be heading over to the UK this October for 5 live dates.
Part of Jason’s European tour, the dates will follow the singer-songwriter’s extensive US summer tour. The UK leg will kick off in Manchester on 25th October and make stops in Glasgow, Brighton, London and Birmingham.
Jason is currently putting the finishing touches to his new album, the follow-up to the Grammy Award winning 2015 release Something More Than Free. The album was recorded at the legendary RCA Studio A in Nashville with Grammy Award-winner Dave Cobb returning as producer.
It will be the first Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit album since 2011ās Here We Rest.
The 400 Unit is: Derry deBorja (keyboards), Chad Gamble (drums), Jimbo Hart (bass) and Sadler Vaden (guitar). Look for the announcement of the spring/summer release soon. Isbell recently posted this Teaser Clip on his Twitter.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will release the special vinyl only Live from Welcome To 1979 for Record Store Day on 22nd April 2017. It will feature six songs, five of which are covers.
The tracks include The Rolling Stonesā Canāt You Hear Me Knocking and Sway, John Prineās Storm Windows, Candi Statonās Heart On A String, Bruce Springsteenās Atlantic City and Isbellās own Never Gonna Change.
