Darius Rucker to release Life’s Too Short on 14th July

Darius Rucker will release his new single Life’s Too Short on 14th July 2017.

The follow-up to If I Told You, Life’s Too Short is the second single to be taken from his upcoming album, which is due for release on 17th October. The track has just been added to the BBC Radio 2 playlist.

The new music comes after Darius’ superb performance at C2C: Country to Country back in March where he wowed audiences on the main stage.

Originally best known as the lead singer of Hootie and the Blowfish, Rucker reintroduced himself to the world as a country artist in 2008 with Learn to Live. In 2014 Rucker won his third career Grammy Award for Best Solo Country Performance for his triple platinum selling cover of Old Crow Medicine Show’s Wagon Wheel.

His 2010 album Charleston, SC 1966 produced 5 number one singles – Come Back Song, This, Alright, It Won’t Be Like This For Long and Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It – and his fourth country album Southern Style scored him another number 1 with Homegrown Honey.
