Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal & How To Get Away With Murder renewed for new seasons

Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder will all return for new seasons in the 2017-2018 TV season it has been confirmed.

All three Shondaland dramas have been renewed by ABC after leading the ratings with their current seasons. That mean’s Grey’s Anatomy will be back for season 14, Scandal will enter season 7 and How To Get Away With Murder will return for a fourth season.

Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal both currently air on Sky Living HD here in the UK and How To Get Away With Murder has no UK home after being dropped by Universal Channel. In the US all three shows air on ABC under the #TGIT Thursday night brand created especially for Shondaland hits.

Grey’s Anatomy remains one of the top-rated drama series in the US and in its current 13th season it shows no signs of slowing down. Despite the departure of regulars Patrick Dempsey and Sara Ramirez in the past two seasons, Grey’s Anatomy continues to perform very strongly.

Scandal just returned for its shortened sixth season and has delivered plenty of twists in its first three episodes.

How To Get Away With Murder has shed some of its audience since season 1 but the show continues to draw people in with its shocking plot twists and OMG moments.

We’re glad that all three shows will be with us for some time to come!
