PS2 classic Legend of Kay returns on PSN

Nordic Games have announced that Legend of Kay has dusted off its fur and made a return on the PlayStation Network in Europe.

The immersive story-driven adventure is a jump and run puzzle-solving experience, where players will discover and secure the treasures of the demons’ underworld. Set on the peaceful island of Yenching players assume the role of the masterful cat Kay. Blending together martial arts combat and action-adventure where players will confront huge boss battles and defeat hordes of well-armed enemies.

Exploration forms a large part of the plotline where players will meet a number of characters along the way; these will lead players onto a variety of side quests set in rich Chinese environments.
We’re bringing back Legend of Kay so players can relive the joyous wonder that is Kay, as well as introducing it to players who may have missed it first time round. There is no reason not to love Kay, he’s a hero with a kung-fu attitude that provides hours of fun.
When Kay’s home island Yenching is invaded by the ruthless army of Emperor Shun, the young cat Kay, an apprentice at the local Dojo, must take up arms to defend his friends and family. Meet, befriend or fight loads of quirky animal characters like Gorillas, Rats, Foxes, Hares, Pandas and Frogs. Explore a world inspired by the threats and beauties of ancient China, by foot, well, paw, or on the back of a wild boar, a wolf or even a dragon.

Originally released in 2004 for PlayStation 2, the Legend of Kay is available for download now from the PlayStation Network priced £3.99.
