Persona 5

Age Rating: 16+
The best JRPG on the PS4 and one of the best of all time. The game is set in Tokyo over a school year and features dungeon exploration, turn-based combat and stunning graphics.

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy

Age Rating: 16+
This year the team at Naughty Dog surprised us with a new Uncharted game that didn’t feature the series main protagonist Nathan Drake. Instead The Lost Legacy focused on two female leads – treasure hunter Chloe Fraser and Nadine Ross from Uncharted 4. The game delivered a strong singleplayer campaign and also brought along the multiplayer from Uncharted 4. One of our favourite games of the year and essential for Uncharted fans.

Check out our Uncharted: The Lost Legacy review to see what we thought of the game.

Until Dawn

If you’re buying for a horror fan this year then Until Dawn should be top of their list. It’s still the best horror game on PS4 and plays out like a proper teen horror movie where you make the decisions for the characters. Read our Until Dawn review to see what we thought of the game.
