Press Conference: Toy Story 3
Toy Story 3 hits cinemas this week and EF jumped at the chance to attend the UK press conference for what is proving to be one of the best animated films of the year. Director Lee Unkrich and Producer Darla K. Anderson were in attendance as they shared some secrets on Pixar, the Toy Story trilogy and their favourite characters.

Woody (Tom Hanks – Big), Buzz (Tim Allen – The Shaggy Dog) and the gang are all preparing for the worst. Andy is now heading to college and they don’t know what he will do with all of his old toys. Woody tries to reassure his friends that they will go into the attic but a mix-up causes them to be wrongly donated to the Sunnyside Daycare Centre. Once they get there it looks to be paradise - there is a constant influx of happy kids looking to play with them all day long and the rest of the toys welcome them with open arms.

From when she was a little girl, Tiana (Anika Noni Rose) has always dreamt of owning her own restaurant. It was a dream originally held by her father who used to make gumbo with her. He worked hard his whole life but never managed to see his dream fulfilled. Now Tiana works twice as hard to make sure she can start up her own business in memory of her father. When her childhood friend Charlotte La Bouff mentions that a visiting Prince named Naveen (Bruno Campos) is attending the Mardi Gras, Tiana is happy for her.

Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time
Dastan (Jake Gyllenhaal – Jarhead) is the adopted son of King Sharaman (Ronald Pickup – Holby City) and along with his brothers defend their empire in the name of the crown. When word gets to the palace that a neighbouring city is supplying arms to the Kings enemies, Sharaman’s brother Nizam (Ben Kingsley – Gandhi) prompts Dastan and his brothers to attack and capture Queen Tamina (Gemma Arterton – Clash Of The Titans).

78-year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen (Edward Asner – Elf) decides to take a stand against the corporation who are tearing down houses to re-develop his neighbourhood. His is the only house left on the block and his stubborn refusal to bow down to the pressures of relocating to a retirement home frustrates the authorities. Carl made a promise to his wife Ellie that one day they would explore the wilds of South America so he decides to try and honour that wish by attaching thousands of balloons to his home.
