A first-look clip has been released from The Riot Club
The movie stars Sam Claflin, Max Irons, Douglas Booth, Jessica Brown Findlay, Holliday Grainger, Freddie Fox and Ben Schnetzer. It is directed by Lone Scherfig and written by Laura Wade, who wrote the original play that the movie is based on.
Set amongst the privileged elite of Oxford University, The Riot Club follows Miles (Max Irons) and Alistair (Sam Claflin), two first year students determined to join the infamous Riot Club, where reputations can be made or destroyed over the course of a single evening.
The new clip sees a student removed from the library by his classmates and put through an initiation ceremony.
The Riot Club will be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) on Saturday and will be released in the UK on 19th September. Check out the clip below:
