Trailer round-up: Pitch Perfect 2, Poltergeist & more

It’s been a bumper week for new trailers this past week so our weekly trailer round-up is meatier than ever before.

As well as the new trailer for upcoming comedy sequel Pitch Perfect 2, there were big trailer releases in the shape of Guy Ritchie’s reboot of The Man From U.N.C.L.E., the remake of horror classic Poltergeist, and Amy Schumer’s collaboration with Judd Apatow Trainwreck.

Big Game

Synopsis: A young teenager camping in the woods helps rescue the President of the United States when Air Force One is shot down near his campsite.

Pitch Perfect 2

Starring: Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Brittany Snow, Elizabeth Banks

Synopsis: Collegiate a cappella group the Barden Bellas enter into an international competition that no American team has ever won.

Poltergeist

Starring: Sam Rockwell, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Jared Harris

Synopsis: Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan reimagine and contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
