The Found Footage Festival is nearly here

The Found Footage Festival is a one-of-a-kind event showcasing odd and hilarious videos.

Taking place at Leeds’ Hyde Park Picture House on Friday 22nd March, the festival features everything from curiously produced corporate training videos to the forsaken home movie discovered in a bin. Curated by Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett, the festival is a 90-minute celebration of all things ‘found’.

ā€œWeā€™re really excited about showing off our collection of greatest VHS finds from the last 20 years,ā€ says curator Nick Prueher. ā€œWe started this back in high school and would show clips for entertainment at parties and now weā€™re on tour around the UK, Ireland, Paris and The Netherlands! This is a new show created especially for British audiences.ā€

ā€œItā€™s great to welcome back Nick & Joe,ā€ says General Manager Wendy Cook. ā€œThey first came to us last year and the audience loved them so with new footage to show Iā€™m sure theyā€™ll be loved again! And as if we donā€™t give enough the first 150 people through the door will get a free bottle of Brooklyn beer!ā€
