The fifth instalment in the Step Up series, Step Up 5: All In, reunites several familiar faces as they battle it out for a life-changing contract in Las Vegas.
Spanning eight years and multiple locations across the U.S, the Step Up characters have had their fair share of drama and dancing, but here’s a little refresher on who to look out for in Step Up 5: All In.
Ryan Guzman – Sean
We met our leading man in Step Up Revolution, as the leader of ‘The MOB’ in Miami and has since gone on to appear in roles such as awkward college student Brett in Ladies’ Man as well as a part in Pretty Little Liars as martial arts instructor Jake. In fact, Ryan trained as a mixed martial arts fighter before landing his big break in Step Up Revolution back in 2012.
Briana Evigan – Andie
One of the originals, we last saw Briana as Andie back in 2008 with Step Up 2: The Streets, a member of troubled dance crew 410 before leaving to take part in the dance competition known as The Streets. Briana has since become known as a Scream Queen, due to her involvement with a number of horror and thriller films, most notably as Cassidy Tappan in Sorority Row. You may also recognise Briana from Linkin Park’s video for Numb!
Adam Sevani – Moose
A Step Up veteran, this is Adam’s fourth venture as Moose, the engineering student who struggles to juggle his studies with his passion for dancing. Joining the Step Up family at the tender age of 16, Adam has also made time to appear in Lol, with Miley Cyrus.
Izabella Miko – Alexa
A new face in the franchise, this is Izabella’s first Step Up role. The Polish actress is probably best known for her roles as table-dancing Cammie in Coyote Ugly as well as the goddess Athena in Clash of the Titans. In Step Up All In, Alexa will be taking the role of the compere of the dance competition.
Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss – Jason
This is Stephen’s third Step Up film (after Step Up 3D and Step Up Revolution) as MOB member Jason, and has also had a number of small parts on television series including Drop Dead Diva and Bones as well as appearing as a backing dancer on Hairspray (2007). However the Hip-Hop dancer/choreographer is probably best known for appearances on several televised talent competitions including Star Search, The Wade Robson Project and two seasons of So You Think You Can Dance.
Misha Gabriel – Eddy
MOB member and best friend to Sean, we last saw quick-tempered Eddy in Step Up Revolution where he comes to blows with his friend’s love interest, Emily. Misha has previously been seen as a dancer in Clerks II and Center Stage: Turn It Up as well as a main role in the television series, Massholes.
