Salma Hayek stars in a brand new trailer and stunning new artwork for Matteo Garrone’s visionary Tale of Tales.
The film opens in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 17th June.
From the bitter quest of the Queen of Longtrellis (Salma Hayek) who forfeits the life of her husband (John C. Reilly), to two mysterious sisters who provoke the passion of the King of Strongcliff (Vincent Cassel), to the King of Highhills (Toby Jones) obsessed with a giant Flea leading to heartbreak for his young daughter.
Tale of Tales weaves the beautiful with the grotesque, creating a stunning and unique work of gothic imagination.
Inspired by the celebrated fairytales by Giambattista Basile, the film is an epic vision of cinema from Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah). The film also screened in competition at last year’s Cannes Film Festival.
