Royal Albert Hall welcomes The Rocky Horror Picture Show

For the first time since its release almost 40 years ago, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is to be given a special screening at the Royal Albert Hall. The 1975 cult classic is coming to the famous venue for one night only, on Thursday 13 November, for its legion of fans to enjoy a special screening in one of the world’s most iconic buildings.

This follows off the back of numerous film screenings that have struck a real chord with audiences at the famed Royal Albert Hall. The Artist, Gladiator, Star Trek and Titanic are just some of the blockbuster movies to have graced the Hall with a sell-out Frozen sing-a-long coming in November too.

Jasper Hope, Chief Operating Officer at the Royal Albert Hall, said: “Audience participation is always part of the deal when the Rocky Horror Picture Show is screened and it’s our absolute pleasure to be able to present this cult classic in the majestic setting of the Royal Albert Hall for thousands to enjoy.”

Nearly 40 years on from its release, The Rocky Horror Picture Show is firmly established as both a critical and popular favourite.

The screening is a co-promotion between the Royal Albert Hall and Apollo Digital.
