Making Dickie Happy cast interview
Posted on March 4, 2013 By Greg Jameson Featured Slider, Theatre Interviews
We recently caught up with the cast of Making Dickie Happy, a play about a fictional meeting between Agatha Christie, Noël Coward and Dickie Mountbatten.
We speak to actors Phineas Pett. Helen Duff, David Alderman, Rob Pomfret and Matthew Alexander, who tell us about what it’s been like rehearsing the show.
We were lucky enough to work with film-maker Emma Nan Hu, who directed and edited. She mixes interviews with the actors and exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of them in rehearsal. Take a look at the video and tell us what you think!
The show is directed by Robert Gillespie of Jane Nightwork Productions, and written by Jeremy Kingston.
It’s showing at the Tristan Bates Theatre from 5th to 30th March 2013, and tickets are available from their website.
