Having been relieved of her duties after being unceremoniously dumped by the best man via text, ex-maid of honour Eloise McGarry, played by Anna Kendrick (Trolls, Pitch Perfect) decides to hold her head high and attend her oldest friend’s wedding anyway.
She finds herself seated at the random table in the back of the ballroom with a disparate group of strangers, most of whom should have known to just send their regrets. As everyone’s secrets are revealed, Eloise learns a thing or two from the guests on Table 19.
Table 19 also stars an A-list comedy cast including the talented Lisa Kudrow (Friends, Bad Neighbours 2) as diner owner Bina Kepp; Craig Robinson (This is the End, The Office (US)) as Bina’s husband, Jerry Kepp; Stephen Merchant (The Office (US), The Ricky Gervais Show) as distant nephew Walter Thimble who is currently on parole after he was tricked into stealing $125 000 from his last job; June Squibb (Nebraska, About Schmidt) as Jo Flanagan who was the bride’s childhood nanny; and Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel, Dope) as Renzo Eckberg who came to the wedding in hopes to pick up a girl.
Mark Duplass (The League, The Mindy Project) and brother Jay Duplass (Transparent, Animals.) co-wrote Table 19 along with director Jeffrey Blitz (The Office (US), Spellbound).
