To celebrate the release of Planes 2: Fire & Rescue this summer, we’re giving you the chance to attend an exclusive preview of the film this Saturday July 19th at a special BFI Family Funday Screening, followed with a Q+A with the filmmakers!
Planes 2: Fire & Rescue is a new comedy-adventure featuring a dynamic crew of elite fire-fighting aircraft who are devoted to protecting Piston Peak National Park from raging wildfires.
In a story of bravery, teamwork and heroism, world-famous Dusty (voice of Dane Cook) is launched into the world of aerial fire-fighting, joining forces with helicopter Blade Ranger (voice of Ed Harris), air tanker Dipper (voice of Julie Bowen) and a lively bunch of brave all-terrain vehicles known as The Smokejumpers. Together, the fearless team battles a massive wildfire and Dusty learns what it takes to become a true hero.
Planes 2: Fire & Rescue is released in 3D in Scotland on August 1st and across the rest of the country on August 8th.
The BFI Planes Funday includes the chance to create your very own animation-based adventure story in the Planes 2 Fire and Rescue workshop, with the best presented to the filmmakers for the chance to win fantastic prizes!
