C2C: Country to Country 2017 – Zac Brown Band profile

Brad Paisley isn’t the only former headliner returning to C2C: Country to Country this year.

Zac Brown Band headlined alongside Brad back in 2014 and they proved to be one of the biggest hits the festival has seen. They’ll be back to headline the third and final day of this year’s C2C, taking to the stage after Marty Stuart’s performance.

The band’s C2C appearance will come before the release of their new album Welcome Home, which is due to arrive on 12th May 2017. The first single from the album is My Old Man, which is available at all digital outlets now.

Zac Brown Band released their last album Jekyll + Hyde in 2015 and it was certified Platinum in the US. The album spawned the hits Homegrown, Heavy is the Head featuring Chris Cornell, Loving You Is Easy and Beautiful Drug.

In 2004 Zac Brown Band self-released their debut album Far From Einstyne. Their major label debut came in 2008 with The Foundation and was certified 5x Platinum.

Over the course of their career to date, Zac Brown Band have scored an incredible 14 number ones since 2008 and firmly established themselves as one of the most loved and successful bands in Country music. In 2016 the band embarked on their latest tour Black Out The Sun, and they’ve toured extensively ever year for the past few years.

Frontman Zac Brown also launched a side project, Sir Rosevelt, in 2016 with an album expected to be released this year. The band is a departure from Zac’s usual sound and they’ll be performing in London at Scala on 14th March.
