Stranger Things returns to Netflix tomorrow (Friday 27th October) for its second season and to celebrate we’re giving you a sneak peek into new recipe book Stranger Fillings.
With so much anticipation and buzz around the new season, you’re probably already planning your viewing party. Well now you can wow your friends by baking a whole host of edible Stranger Things inspired treats.
The 80s-tastic cookbook by The Muffin Brothers will teach you how to make tantalising treats such as El’s Cola Crush, Demogorgon-zola Tartlets, Will’s Slug Surprise and Barb’s Mystery Dip.
You can take a look at one of the recipes from the book below titled Light Bites, which is inspired by Joyce’s (Winona Ryder) Christmas lights display that she uses to talk to her missing son Will (Noah Schnapp).
Since it’s release last summer, Stranger Things has gone on to be one of the most critically acclaimed and talked about shows in recent history. The 80s-set supernatural drama has been a huge hit for Netflix and it’s felt like a very long wait for fans since the first season dropped.
Alongside Winona Ryder, the show stars David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Cara Buono, Matthew Modine, Noah Schnapp and Joe Keery.
Stranger Fillings is published by Trapeze in hardback at £9.99 and eBook at £5.99 and is available now.
